Description
Chalet Ruisseau is a newly-built traditionally-styled luxury chalet. Located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Nendaz, the chalet provides spacious, luxurious surroundings for groups of up to 8 people. It is traditionally built of timber, with reinforced concrete and underfloor heating on the lower two floors.
On the lower ground floor, the large front door leads into a hallway off which is a wine store and double garage (complete with ski racks and a laundry room off it), whilst in the main premises are a boot room, three spacious bedrooms (the master with ensuite bathroom, plus two further twin rooms), a separate family bathroom for use by the twin bedrooms, and a separate WC.
Up the spiral stone stairs to the ground floor, and you arrive at the open plan living and dining area, complete with rustic log fire, sumptuous lounge furniture and panoramic picture windows, providing outstanding views across the beautiful Rhone valley. Outside is a large terrace complete with luxurious hot tub.
Upstairs once more and the high-ceilinged living room is overlooked by a beautifully appointed mezzanine floor, off which is the fourth bedroom and ensuite shower room.
A hot tub in the chalet, Egyptian cotton sheets and plump pillows and duvets... we believe the word 'luxury ski holiday' should actually mean it. Style, convenience and comfort - effortlessly combined and at sensible prices.

The village of Haute-Nendaz provides a fantastic location for a summer break. There are loads of activities to keep you and your family occupied, and of course some of the most spectacular scenery in the Alps on your doorstep.
Unlike so many other winter resorts, Nendaz doesn't slam the shutters closed at the end of the ski season. Restaurants abound, the village is alive, and the lift system is open from June through to September to get you (and your bike?) up the mountain.

Nendaz lies at the centre of Switzerland's Four Valleys area, one of the largest and most varied ski regions in the world.
Put quite simply, the ski station of Haute-Nendaz is one of the best kept secrets in the Alps.
It is one of the principal villages in Switzerland’s Four Valleys ski area, sitting at an altitude of 1365m and offering excellent skiing and boarding - with over 400km of pistes, world class off-piste terrain and snow-sure skiing up to a dizzying 3330m altitude.
And even though it's now on the World Cup snowboard circuit, Nendaz is still somewhere the larger British tour operators haven't found yet, so it's completely unspoiled.
Nendaz is just over the mountain from Verbier and only a 90-minute car journey from Geneva airport. The village therefore provides the ideal staging post for a ski or boarding holiday to remember.
The full-area lift pass gives you access to the pistes of Verbier, Siviez, Thyon and Veysonnaz, with the magnificent Mont Fort peak rising above the village as a challenge to even the most intrepid of skiers or boarders.
And in the village itself, you'll find a charming selection of local shops, bars and restaurants, along with some of the friendliest locals you could hope to meet.
